You have a blockage preventing the coolant from circulating. Go to a garage.
Best of luck

you got a problem. either the cooling system has air in it or your fan aint working or you need a new thermostat. I'm assuming that the drive belt isn't broken cause that would produce similar results. fill the bottle up and the radiator up. then warm the car up to its normal opperating temprature then shut it off and let it cool down. it should suck more water in from the bottle and repeat. that will get most of the air out of the system and allow it to circulate. the worst case scenario is that your car has blown a head gasket and is leaking air into your cooling system. in that case say goodbye to "old paint"

I would bet that you have air trapped in your cooling system. With the engine cool try to remove a heater hose and then pour water into the radiator until it begins to flow out of the hose you have disconnected. Then reconnect the hose and warm up the engine until the thermostat opens (the upper radiator hose suddenly gets very warm) and top off radiator and coolant recovery bottle. Test drive and recheck fluid levels. Good luck.

Sounds like it could be either the thermostat or the cylinder head casket. I would take it to a garage to check the pressure in the system and thermostat.
Until you do that do not drive the car as you will trash the engine if you do so.

it sounds like a stuck thermostat at the top of your radiator, this prevents the water circulating round the radiator through the cooling fins. needs checking and replacing.

you have a restriction in the cooling system. i'd check the hoses to make sure they didn't suck themeselves flat...and then i'd get a new thermostat. they're cheap. if you live in a continually hot area, i'd lose the thermostat altogether.
