Liquid...it dissipates better, and is better for your washing machine, we found powder leaves residue on clothes at times and in the machine too.

If you're into concentrated cleaners then the powder form is better. Why? The powder contains no water. No water means concentrated cleaning agents and enzymes which activate with water. The liquid detergents have as a primary ingredient, Water. Statements of the powder not dissolving sufficiently might be more an issue of method and/or equipment and not material. I use both(Whatever is on sale). I'm particular about my appearance clothing cleanliness included.
What side were you on powder or liquid????

depends on your water type...I use both, but either one will work. I've also found that you don't really need as much liquid as they say unless the clothes are really dirty,in that case I found the best solution to that is that oxyclean from the dollar stores. I add a scoop of that and the detergant and everything comes out clean!

I love liquid detergent - the powdered kind sometimes doesn't dissolve & can leave bleached spots on jeans.
