No. I think that her first problem is that she's still basically a child herself. Her appearance and demeanor on television the other night was not a positive step for her. And the gum? Good grief!
Her next problem is the fact that she's got TWO children already (Sean Preston and husband Kevin), and is expecting another...her husband is such a jerk! They BOTH need to grow up and realize that their children should be their first priority--they don't care whether you have fancy cars and homes, a record deal, or lots of money.
Parenting help in the form of classes or a parenting tutor would be a good start. A good swift kick in the butt for both of them wouldn't hurt either.

Brittney may be a good time mom. But she needs to be a good mother in the long run. I don't think she will. Look at her decisions now as they stand. Two words, Kevin Federline, is a proven plant the seed and run type of guy. The only reason he is with her to begin with is the money and she was a hot piece of ***. Otherwise he would be with his other babies mother.
Brittney needs guidance from another source from what she is getting now. She keeps messing up. Then cries for the tabs to leave her alone. To late, you are a celebrity, everything was okay when you were on stage looking good and you were in the tabloids then.
Get rid of the leech Kevin might want to be her first move. Then work on motherhood in a new light for starters.

Personally, I think she's doing the best she can. I know when I was a baby, it wasn't a law to have car seats. You just got buckled in, or sat in a parent's lap. And if you had paparazzi or any mob of people, for that matter, chasing after you, the furthest thing from your mind would be a seatbelt. She thought she was protecting her son. I hear so many people make excuses for that Andrea Yates lady who drowned her kids intentionally in a bathtub. People just say, "oh, she was depressed", or "oh, she had a mental problem". But with all the resources there are out here to help with mental disorders of any kind, that's not really an excuse for her to kill her kids. She could've gotten help. But people are blasting Britney for a stupid car seat issue? How backwards is that crap?! Other mothers have done a whole hell of a lot worse.

Since I dont know her personally and only know what has been claimed in the papers or magazines, I can't comment on that. She is probably trying to do the best she can and she is still learning. She's a lot better then some of the so called 'parents' out there.

What difference does it make if Brittney is a good mom or not? It has nothing to do with us. Lets live our lives and let others live theirs non-judgmentally.

I don't see how any of us could know. We don't see there daily lives. (Thank Goodness!). I think she loves her baby and is doing the best she can with the media shoving their cameras in her face and chasing her all the time. I couldn't imagine having that kind of pressure.

This is something to question. But she could be a "good"?? mom, but no close to a good parent. I hope her kids not going around with no attention. I hope not, It hurts the SOCIETY.
