Usually when you wipe yourself you will see blood (or a pinkish tinge) on the toilet paper first. sometimes you will feel blood on your panties. It usually lasts about 5 days. You need to talk to your mom or an aunt or older woman you can trust.

If you are having your period it is pretty evident. You will be having bleeding from your vagina. I think you need to talk to someone about this or look for informational books.
