I agree with him, and the fact that ppl realy don't give a damn they find heartbreak and pain amusing.

They like to hear about bad thigns because of two reasons.
a) they are jealous and they secretly like to see you hurt
and
b) they are your friends and they are there for support and like to be used for the support...which means that you don't need support when good things happen...
You are not bragging, it all depends on how you lay out the good things in your life.... Your friends want to be there for you and support you, even if it makes them seem like bad people because they like hearing about the bad things...
Plus I think its a way to gossip as well. How many times have you heard good gossip?!

I think it about balance there. I mean when someone always has things going their way it makes you kind of ill of them. So, when you hear that bad stuff happens too, it makes people a bit more human and there for more like able.
