rock. rap is not music. rap is just talking with music in the backround, and it is stupid. rock has insightful lyrics and better music. it is by far better than rap.

I like both it's wrong to say rap is not music because it is just a different kind, I lot of rappers really have something to say and are true poetics you just have to listen to more than what you hear on the radio but I guess that goes for rock too

Rock - no doubt about it. i stumble on it puzzling to ascertain RAP as a kind of music although I settle for it as a kind of performance. It contains elements of dad music (words and rhythm) even if it owes extra to particular colleges of poetry than to music ... i'm deliberating the 'concrete poets' and 'phonetic poets' who were part of the alternative arts scene contained in the previous due Sixties. I celebrate with that there is ability in RAP: it really is merely not a ability that does some thing for me. would I quite pay interest to RAP or roadworks? ..... Rock. Technically, it's much more complicated than rap. Anybody can throw in some beats together, degrade women and glorify gang warfare, and call that a song. Rap also throws us back as a society with their lyrics and "role models" for many years.

I love both! i especially love when they can intertwine like Linkin' Park does. Even Eminem sometimes uses guitar in his beats or raps over an old rock song like in the song "Sing for the Moment."♥
