i can shake a leg .but i want to improve on it without going to dance classes.....any ideas?............actually there r no good dance classes nearby.......is there some online help ....

There are so many good DVDs out there now on all different types of dance .I am not sure what type of dance you are into but bottom line if you can get into any dance class you like it will teach you so much more than trying to do it by yourself . You get ther technique and discipline but more importantly you will be around people who are into what you are into. I have taken a lot of classes and it was weird at first but that faded really fast and I
love the camaraderie

Have a DVD dance tutorial or have someone to teach you. The real teacher is more comprehensive than the DVD. Because you can't ask the DVD a question if you have one. Unlike with a teacher he or she can teach you the techniques and other things. You can start with hip hop and a little jazz for beginners. Hope I helped you.

If you have a friend who knows how to dance then don't be afraid to ask them, there's nothing wrong with learning something New from a friend, like how to dance. Or you can watch TV Channels like MTV. They have people dancing on there all the time. Or down lode Videos of dancers and learn that way. also down lode music videos of people that you think can dance and would like to dance like them, like ne-yo! or Chris brown, usher, or others. whatever you feel more comfortable dancing like.

Watch MTV, VH1 and BET, buy instuctional videos or DVDs. Those are best for hip hop or free form dancing but if it's something structured then you may want to take a class.

Yes. Take up ballroom dancing. It's something you can enjoy for the rest of your life. It's good exercise, it's fun and you meet a lot of really nice people. Also, if you're a guy and you can dance, you are instantly like a chick magnet!!!

its better to get someone to teach you, maybe a dvd instructor, but dancing is serious ( at least to me lol) and dancing classes would be the best thing.
