Yes you can spread poison ivy to other people that you sleep with or hug if you have blisters that break on them. You should be very careful not to touch others because they might have an allergy to it and become very sick. As for sitting on a chair after you this would only happen if you are weeping in the area where you set. By weeping I mean if you ivy is putting out a fluid an it gets on the chair surface. The best thing you can do is to be very careful not to get any of this fluid on anything that someone might touch too. I hope that this helps.

Well first you'd have to scratch open the poison ivy and make the pus come out. Then if you got the pus on someone, they'd get poison ivy in a couple days too. Just try not to scratch it if you have it. It may also leave scars if you're unlucky.
