I was going to say Batman, then I realized in order to be him you have to lose both your parents and live a pretty messed up double life, so no.
Then I thought Neo, but he's messed up too since you have to get your eyes burnt out and kill yourself in the end.
Then Frodo, but he got his finger bit off by an ugly little gray man.
So now I would say none of the above since every movie has to put their main character through some sort of senseless hardship to make the story interesting, and I just don't have the time or patience to deal with it. ;)
