i have a 99 ford zx2, the battery light on the dash is on, i changed the battery and the light is still on, any help?

That's not so much a battery light as it is a charge light. I may be that your Altinator/Rectifier if not charging correctly. An easy self test is to start your truck(?) up then disconnect the battery. Turn on the lights on bright and the car radio (reasonable electrical load) If it goes dead then your altinator needs looking into. You can also check for voltate fluctuations with a cheap multi meter from your parts store.

check the water in the battery ,fuses , check and make sure you have enough amp coming out of the alternator to the battery

You have a charging problem..... go and have your system checked,,,, might be the alternator.

could just be a loose connection
or that your computer neeeds reset

probably a blown fuse.
