He can't reach the pedals, is there anything made to put behind him, besides a pillow. I need something that will stay in place as he drives. I am looking for some type of wrap-around cushion.

Try a peice of thick foam, like the kind you find in a couch, this is a lot thicker than a pillow. the best kind is found in orthapedic pillows, it's a wedge of really good foam. You also may think about remounting the seat (if the motor isn't right behind or attached to the seat and if there are screws.
Remove the screws and then move it forward, redrilling the holes.

Let me keep the Go-Kart for him until he grows more! ;-)
Not really sure need to really see the Kart. But, you could get a nice Lawnmower seat and temporarily mount for his size. You could move the Pedals in some, it can be done, but, have to adjust the Control Rods too. I would try a Temporary seat just have to Brain Storm it. Now you could use Wheel Controls for Gas and Brake. Just use those cable like Lawnmower Throttle Cables (Flexible). You leave the Originals in place, just disconnect at the Back.

Instead of investing in a pillow or cushoin for your sons go cart, try moving the seat forward. I'm not sure of the make/modle of your cart, but you should be able to unbolt the seat from the frame, move it forward however far you need it, drill new holes, and rebolt the seat into place. It would be a cheaper, and safer route then tossing a bunch of filler behind his back to get him forward enough.
thanks

You can buy pedal extenders. I think www.tsracing.com has them or try Russell Karting.

You might take the cart to your local tool/welding shop. They could possibly add extensions that would screw on to be removed at a later date.
