Its so funny.This one guy I know laughs like a sheep and another laughs like a dolphin.And they sound so funny.Why?

If you were Chinese you would think that people talking English were talking funny. Different people have different laughs and ways of speaking. You are just as different to them as they are to you. It has been said that I sound like a mouse when I giggle so each person has their own sounds and differences. Can you imagine what it would be like if everyone sounded the same and looked just alike. It would be a very boring world and you would never know who you were talking to or anything else. Think about it.

It just so happens that those two Chinese laugh funny. You should assume all Chinese act the same way based on your limited experiences with ONLY 2 Chinese persons.

Wow. Lucky you some people will think youre just a curious dude but this question can offend some. Sigh. Oh well. Anyways, they talk like that not because of their genes or whatever. Its how their brought up. Kids develop the accent coz... 'monkey see monkey do'. So yeah. The laughing? It just comes naturally to them :D dont mind them coz its all on the vocal chords my brothaaa!!!

I'm Chinese who has spent many years in America and speak perfect English. Last time I visited my family in China, they told me I talked like a duck.
I guess we use our voice differently.
