If you have trouble getting quality makeup, I would suggest a good skin regimen daily! Like cleansers, moisturizers, and something else, if you are putting on foundation and powder every day that may be some of your pore problem, try this for a week, wash your face with a good cleanser no bar soap, then apply a moisturizer, I really like Cetaphil, and if at all possible stay away from makeup for the whole week and see if this makes a difference with your skin tone. Hope this helped!!!

First and foremost, not every foundation and powder is harmful to your skin. Second, after using foundations and powders for more than 20 years now, I know that it is all in your genes and not in your makeup. That said, find out what kind of skin you have. Is it oily? Is it dry? Then according to this simple diagnosis, choose the makeup that is available to you. If you are oily, try oil free products. If you are dry, try to use products that are for anti aging. If you have a combination skin, stick with the oil free products. Loreal is a great company and I really believe in their products. Loreal also owns companies like Lancome. So I would say that if you are really concerned about the brand name, go with Loreal.

Honestly, if your 19 you proberly have pretty good skin and do not need to wear foundation and powder. If you wish to wear it, it won't make you age, although if you put it on too think it can look fake. Try a very sheer water based foundation or powder/foundation- covergirl. Also have you ever tried using blotting papers? I love these...they soak up grease/oil on your skin during the day. You can buy these at your local drug store.
Hope this helps.

Definately use Bare Essentials. It does what it says. It is a bit expensive and if yu are not carefull it an get messy but also so worth it and it actually helps prevent aging. It feels like you are not even wearing makeup. I use it on my face and I have extremely large pores. Not only does it cover your pores but it keeps them from getting blocked. I have a huge scar on my forehead and when I put it on I can barely see the scar.

Do you have a Body Shop? I would recommed that you try out the tinted moisturiser, but before this you need to clease, tone, preferably with a product that contains aloe vera which is gentle and for sensitive skin. Also you need to drink plenty of water.
