So, one night i fell asleep with a tampon in, and when I woke up, it was gone. thinking I took it out in my sleep and didn't remember, i put a new one in. now i have a weird pressure feeling in my abdomen. I have "looked" for the tampon, but nothing. can something get stuck up there?

No, it cannot get lost or stuck, but it could be pushed up further than you expected and yes, you can fit two tampons in at once.

Remove the one you put in, then squat down on the floor with your legs open and push down with your pelvis (like you are trying to push something out). Then reach your finger up inside. You should be able to feel your cervix. If the tampon is still there, you'll find it.

It's gross but it beats going to the doc for it. I once went to the doc complaining of odor and he found one up there I'd somehow forgotten about that was 2 weeks old. Talk about embarrassing! He said that happens all the time.

it's not possible for a tampon to get stuck or lost in you. the opening in your virgina is just too small for your tampon to go thru. go to www.beinggirl.com for more information =]

Take a bath, try to see if you can reach it. Hate to say this, but getting excited a bit will help open things up....sorry to be so graphic...If you absolutely can't get it, you will have to go to the gyno, it can be very bad to have that up there.

That doesn't sound good. Try and take it out, but if you can't you should probably go to the doctor

You should go to the doctor. You don't want to get TSS! It will be worth going to the doctor. Don't waist time trying yourself.

Yes it can. Go to your doctor, he will get it out for you. Don't be embarrassed, if you leave it in there, you could get an infection.
