Yes I do - my father fought in Vietnam, my husband in Desert Storm and my son in Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Fourth of July always reminds me that they fought for something important - the rights of those that can't or won't fight for themselves.

Of course, what makes me mad is the fact that people are showing up at soldier's funerals with picket signs and adding to the family's grief - yes, I do realize the irony of the fact that those soldiers died fighting for those picketers right to do something so heinous.

Actually, its my favorite holiday! Thats because it reminds me of when I was little and my family and I would always go downtown to the Monument and see the fireworks. I love the summertime already, and a holiday right in the middle of it is all the more fun! I like anything that gets Americans together having fun. Fouth of July and Newyears are the best holidays!

It's just fine. To be honest it doesn't really stand out from the other days in July for me though - but it is a nice month.

I do like it. I like the fireworks. Not as much as I used to.. they got old after a while...

But I was married July 3rd. I had a "bang up" 4th!

yes, i do. My boyfriend and I always have a cookout with friends. Then we have our special together time.We also make sure to have some sparklers on hand as well.

It was more fun when I was younger. It just seems to me like another excuse for people to party.
