Not really. The Scottish just dont like the Brits. News flas British team is not well liked by a lot of people. Because they are arrogant. Just like the Frenchies. But you can easily find supporters of Italy, Argentina, Brazil in other countries. By the way the Argentinians are way arrogant too. And people love underdogs. Although England usually is an underdog,. their team, fans and their media doesnt seem to think so. They think they are btter than everybody but have not proven that in 50 years.

No, the Scottish hostility towards England period is because England essentially took over Scotland... some time ago, I'm not sure when.
Anyway, ever since then, Scotland has harboured hatred towards England.

A lot of users on this site have been asking the same kind of questions for weeks. Do the English want to be hated? The Song "no-one likes us, we dont care" springs to mind.

i think it is because the number of times theEnglish have beat the scots (yaah - boo)
but also the success we make out of their failures copunt a bit also
but 2 scottish teams are better than at leat 12 prem teams so we should be equal

Not at all, maybe it's because we always get humped by trying new things out for England and basically we're their guinea pigs.... anyway, we all know that football is not Scotland's best subject.......... we're good drinkers!!

i have just returned from my holidays in portugal and there was
not one irishman or scotsman that wanted england to win.
one scottish couple that i met said it was down to the fact that
they never qualified and that it was jealosy.
