Soccer is interesting, but it's all relative. Baseball, football, and basketball are all more interesting sports. Baseball has a ton of statistics that can be followed plus the strategy of the game is interesting. Football too has a lot of strategy and statistics. Basketball has few statistics worth following and the strategy is simple and beyond most fans who are limited in watching the game by the TV camera, but basketball is fast action with a lot of points. Soccer has no statistics to follow. The strategy is only apparent to ardent followers of the sport. Often important games are decided by shoot outs which changes the nature of the game.
