this cheat was meant to get a penalty kick and deserved a red card in my opinion, if not then rooney didn't deserve a red card.

to pancho, you'll be surprized to know I am italian.But I am not biased like you seem to be, I am a fair person above my nationality. What this guy did before the dive isn't much different than what rooney did, yet rooney was sent off. Rooney wasn't trying to WIN the game with his push, this german guy tried to WIN the game, that's the difference pancho.
I don't like the English as they seem to be as biased as you are but fair is fair pancho.
and when the end result is changed because of bad refereeying then it's up to us to be fair and that's what distinguishes men from cowards,, regardless of where you come from pancho.

ruch_creative: Ronaldo didn't have any problem, the way it works is if you get another player booted out then a 10 men team it's easier to beat and Looney took the bite. Not many people got this yet, in the UK they are still wondering if he got booted for the kick or for the push, if they woke up the brits could be artists at this, perhaps one day. I fear Italy might lose against France, this could be a repeat of the 1998 final but the Italians are fitter and might wear them out like they did with the germans, hope it's a clean game anyhow.

ROONEY did deserve a red card. It is funny that the video is from British TV, who hate the Germans. Ballack did deserve a yellow card for fooling the ref. Pushing and shoing is normal. Rooney did not get a red card because he shoved Ronaldo. He got a red card for stepping on the players' privates in front of the referee. And then instead of apologizing continued by cursing and pushing Ronaldo. It was simply stupid. Get over it. Learn to blame your own once instead of everyone else. According to the Brits in the past 50 years for England not winning (or even coming close to winning anything) is everyone's fault but themselves.

Well Ballack got a hit , or not ? They all fall down when they get fouled , it is called soccer my dear ;-) and even if it was a dive ( and everybody can see it wasn't a dive ) he would get a yellow card ;-)
Rooney got a red card for a couple of things, like hitting a player and calling the ref names ;-)Rooney shouldn't play soccer , he better work as a slaughter !

i dont think rooney deserved a red card, a yellow maybe for the pushing. from the footage of ur video, the argentinian player was totally in ballack's way and definitely doing more than just marking him. so i gues both deserved a yellow card. anyway the other day day, it was mostly cristiano ronaldo's fault for interfering. what's his problem anyway?
