An adjective usually follows (somewhat loose) rules for the comparative and superlative form. We would say quick, quicker, quickest and intelligent, more intelligent, and most intelligent. Generally words that have more syllables would use the more/most rule. However, there are exceptions. One says fun, more fun, and most fun instead of fun, funner, and funnest. Likewise with stupid. You would say "more stupid" rather than "stupider" because it sounds less stupid!

It's a word. I don't know if it's an official English word, but if it is in common use it BECOMES a word and the dictionary has to scramble to keep up.
