moving sucks harder than any of the transvestite lot lizards i couldnt get to take a picture with me on my way to my move. that would be before any of the rental truck problems that occured in texas only to prepare us for lack of vacant hotel rooms and brown water down around the gulf. im still pissed off about the pooper scooper incident in mississippi, im sure it was funny when the dumbass that stole it unwraped the shrink wrap and smelled what it was. im almost wishing they'd stole more, maybe i wouldnt be so briused up from unloading all that stuff into a place too hot and too small. over $150.00 deposit for water service is alittle high too, but at least i can steal my internet connection off and on..

Moving is a big deal and it sucks big time. Some research says it's a mildly traumatic event. They say it takes about one year to get you used to the new place. I hope the new place doesn't suck. Just the logistics of moving are a pain in the butt.
Make sure to have people helping you. Sometimes you need more eyes than muscle. Also keep a cooler with lots of bottled drinks.

Sucks is the wrong attitude. It is time to get things weeded out. first, and have a yard sale. Take with you just what you absolutely need and use, and then have patience, packing and moving into a new place should be an adventure, making new friends should be interesting and rewarding, all of it depends largely on your attitude. It should keep you from becoming a Pack Rat if you move often Best of Luck

The person who said it's time for a garage sale is RIGHT. I am cleaning out my parent's home to sell. They had lived there 35 years. My mother always laughed about the mess they were going to leave us to clear up. I'm not thinking it's very funny now. My brother and I have made a promise to our kids and ourselves that we will never let our homes get into this much of a mess. I do not mean trash. Just junk. Lots of old boxes and thinigs that should have been thrown away years ago.
In addition, when I go back to school next month, my classroom is being moved so I have to do this again.
It makes a good case for living less materialistically.

When you're moving it feels like the worst thing happening..like leaving your friends, leaving the environment you're used to, n so many other things. But after u move, u wil begin to like the new place for reasons unique to the place. You'll make new friends n meet some realy amazing people..then u begin to think that if u didnt move, u wouldnt have met all these wonderful people. U wil just have to keep a open mind and be prepared to blend in your new place. There's much to learn and experience from moving to a new place.. There's a reason for evrything to happen...you'll just have to wait for it to happen.. Good luck in moving..

Pay removers to move all your things to the new place. They will give you labelled boxes - kitchen, bedroom etc. they will leave the boxes in the right room, so all you need do is unpack. Neighbours are usually friendly, takes a little time sometimes. Everything takes a little time and effort and before you know, you belong. Good luck.

i hate it, when i sold my house, we had stuff in the basement that was my great grandparents, and of course i could not part with anything, not even a damn scrap of paper....lol. well i have moved twice since then, and i was forced to download when we moved into our current digs....i feel like a sewer rat living in a basement. it sucks, but i am dreading moving again....though it looks like we will be within the next 6 months...omg, maybe i should be on a vacation at that time.....sounds like a p lan to me.....

Depends how far the move is. The wife and I bought the house next to the partment we were renting. Just threw the stuff over the fence.

It sucks, I moved to the suburbs from Chicago for school. The girls out here are way cuter and adorable...rather than the hootchies -n- stuff.
