...and yet, they still have to cover their hair and faces, and cannot vote for their leaders, run a large corporation, or take an equal part in their government? Why is that so?

i had a friend that was from iraq, he said that there, people have to choices (men at least) that upon turning of age, they either join the military or go to a higher learning institution, most take the higher learning option, its the same with women, his mother is a graduate from the university of baghdad as well as his father.
