on a clasical guitar yes...they will stretch more ....baiscally the only real difference..you will ahve to tuen it more often because of the stretching

You could make it work eventually they will stop stretching but if you put it on a guitar made for steel stings they wont sound right. The top of a steel string guitar has stronger bracing and does not viobrate as freely as that of a classical guitar. In addition your neck may be too narrow for it to be playable with nylon stings. Nylon strings are for country guitars, electric guitars use iron strings, try Ernie Ball Slinky strings, they have all kinds of strings

Depends what kind of guitar you have, however, nylon strings are usually for classical guitars.

what kind of guitar? If is acoustic then yes, you can use nylon and they will sound a little different. If electric stick with flat-wound steel.

yes you can... they aren't as hard to press down as the steel strings and they have a different sound/
