I would think you know yourself better than anyone else. That's a choice you and you alone have to make.

If you feel that you really love that persona nd you want to spend the rest of your life with that person, then by all means. But if like others say are in doubt dont do it. You have to spend a long engagement before you can really know. Marriage and love is such a hard thing to define these days. Look into your heart and soul and then think to yourself if thats what you want to do with your life.

BIG QUESTION....

Depends on a lot of things- your intended mate, your understanding of your intended mate, your financial stability, emotional maturity, etc.

My brother was not ready for marriage. He was 21, going to school, good with money, but he had a couple hobbies that took time away from his wife. He also wasn't ready for the emotional sharing required in marriage... and frankly, neither was she. She was 19, waiting for residency so she could go to school, she was good with money, but a little on the demanding side. She was also judgemental.

It lasted <6 months.

My husband and I-- We had both lived on our own, and knew how to use money, we'd both had room-mates, and had learned how to work/live with them, and at least for me- I knew that there would be times that he would need his space and I was ok with that.

We've been married for 6 1/2 yrs, still going strong.

Good luck- hope my experience helps.

It sounds like you don't have a lot of self-esteem. You need to ask yourself a few questions, the most important do you love yourself? If not, what can you do to love yourself. IT will be very hard for you to be succesful in a marriage unless you know and love yourself.

If you are doubting yourself, that's normal a lot of people, they don't think they will be able to do it. Talk to your partner and tell her about your problems, you two can work them out together. I bet you she has some reservations about getting married too.

If you have to ask anonymous people online for this question, then maybe you're not.
