Penguins are birds, therefore they dont have knees, junctions or bones called a knee, however, they do have similar structures to those of human knees, sometimes called an avian knee, avian=bird, knee=knee, its a spot also similar to those of humans, that join the adjacent parts of the birds's bones.

Elephants have four kneecaps, but they can't jump. Human babies don't have kneecaps till they are two years old. Given that every animal has the same bones (homology) in their bodies that we do, I would hazard a guess that yes, penguins have knees. Just not in the conventional sense.

i know most birds. like water flamingos for example, what apears to be there knee is really there ankle (thats why it looks backwards). there knee is reallly inside their body. maybe penguins are like that. anywho, if they don't im glad. there just so cute when they wobble

They probably do if you bend there leg.But if i was in the cold all the time i probably wouldnt have knees either.
