I own an Xbox 360 and I would like to know if Halo really has the characteristics of a M-rated game.

Ok, after reading some reviews on other internet sites, is there a way to turn down the blood and gore in Halo.
I read it on one of the reviews...

its definately questionable seeing as that there isnt any bllod or gore or extreme violence. The company purposely gives the game a mature rating to avoid any problems with parents. they know that younger kids know about all the games and that if they really want halo they can definately get them somehow, either through parents or siblings or friends. the rating is for those parents that are too strict with the kids. that way if they catch the kids playing a game that they think is too violent for their child they cant sue the company or hold the company liable for anything. If the parents complain the company can say that they dont know how such a young kid got there hands on the game and their not held liable seeing as that there is a warning for the mature rating.

nicely compared to what? I actual have maximum all significant sport platforms, and that i think as although the xbox is extra acceptable in maximum thanks to the PS3. potential to communicate between your persons and human beings is alot a lot less puzzling on the xbox with the party chat interface which doesnt truly exist on the PS3. yet contained in the acceptable i love computer gaming in certain else. there are such various diverse accessible sorts of verbal substitute and is alot extra transportable in case you take advantage of a lap acceptable. also there are a large number of mmog's accessible on the computer that are literally not accessible on the consols. in words of value. i imagine that the xbox 360 is fairly solid in its value even if the very incontrovertible actuality that as a way to play over xbox stay, it really is needed so that you'll play along with your persons, you may want to ought to pay a month-to-month value. so that you've a initial low value yet that low value is made up for through the years with Xbox stay. The PS3 will be extra intense priced than the xbox 360 yet there's a undemanding on line service it really is loose to apply. there is also an upgraded version which will value money and could provide your better houses. a operating laptop or computer or computer is perhaps the costliest compared to the xbox and ps3 if you're in search of a few thing to play some heavy duty video games on. even if, alongside with having an epic gaming computer also have all a similar get entry to an ordinary computer will sport. cyber web, microsoft note, etc... desire this facilitates somewhat. EDIT: i spotted some human beings suggesting the ps3, and that i merely pick to discuss one significant draw back ive found to the PS3. The ps3 has a inner hardrive and is fairly small at that. so your truly cant replace it. you'll then ought to purchase an exterior problematical stress with the intention to keep your video games. i havn't carried out this myself so im not particular how a lot of an issue it really is to do. on the xbox, the problematical stress is exterior and plugs precise into the part of the consol. it really is extremely consumer-friendly unplugged and replaced for more beneficial problematical drives provided through microsoft.

Does it matter---HALO is one of the greatest games of all time and I doubt that, even if you are young, that your parents will not go get the game for you----as far as the rating----I don't agree with a mature rating b/c I can turn on adult swim at 12am and see all the violence, cursing, and sex in the world----it is all a matter of what the mainstream sees as acceptable

Due to the abundance of animated violence, it does get an M rating. I don't think it's quite that bad, but my guess is for all the guns and weaponry as well as killing and ability to do a head shot (yup that adds to the rating versus not being able to).

Anytime one of the points of a game is to kill as much as possible then yes, it should be M-ature rated. Excellent game though!
