You know, that is a good quesiton. I had no idea that there wasn a maximum altitude limit. Who would've thunk!

My daughter just recently went on a plane trip, took her video ipod and watched a video & listened to music on the plane with no problem.

The cabin in a plane is pressurized so flying won't be a problem. If it wasen't, your ears would explode. If you need to know if you can take it over 10,000 ft, you can because I hiked to 15,000 feet and it was just fine.
Ebay would be your best bet. (for everything)

ipods work ok on planes, though that may refer to podcasts. Listening to your own music is ok.
You can get them on ebay.co.uk
or try going to comet and striking a deal with one of the sales reps - like if you buy the ipod, case, additional things, will he give a discount. Worth a try. I was lucky like that.

No problem at all as the aircraft is pressurised. All my electronic devices work fine including 5th generation ipod movie and psp

no because planes are pressurised so the height makes no differance
