Would you hug and kiss another shirtless male who's been sweating for 90 minutes?? Yuk!
Sorry no offence to homosexuals, just a straight question to straight men....

hey guys, first of all triniwarrior24
there is much sportmanship when Ferrari kicks everyone's *** but
nobody is kissing anyone, they risk their life too and NEVER cheats.(that's sporthmanship)

Ariel4875, I didn't ask WHY they are kissing and hugging so i am not sure what you are on about. :-)

Legacy I think you got the first bit wrong, I mean I am Italian myself. This isn't acceptable behavior.
We are BACKWARDS and HOMOPHOBIC in Italy, we still beat poor old gay people up.
But the second bit I think it's very funny :-)

Chris .(woman Chris or man Chris) I didn't ask if it was right that they did it Chris.
Most of us are still straight and for us mixing sweat with the same sex feels a bit disgusting hence my question?

bitterswtcho... I take your point, I am one of them. Italian and I am as much of a male as you get, exactly what you describe.
You can call me gay etc etc and it doesn't touch me in the least. But sharing sweat?? YUK!

Well, these are mostly Europeans and South Americans doing this -- and that is an acceptable behavior in those places. They aren't as uptight as we are in America. You'll notice that there wasn't any of that behavior from the American team and not much of it from the England team either. Besides -- we all know that Boxing is the most homosexual sport. 2 sweaty guys wearing silk shorts get into a little S&M role playing to fight it out for a belt and "purse"!!! (money)

It's because Europeans/Latin Americans/etc. are confident enough of their sexuality to show some affection without wondering how others would see it. The straight guys know they're straight, so what's wrong with come happy celebration with their teammates? :)

If you just won a big football game, you gotta feel happy. It's the same with all sports

I like it..
I see it really emotional.
They hug because they are happy...
They hug because they are unhappy...
They hug because they are friends, they are team mates.
They hug because they have a heart.

maybe you should be a little more "gay" ...
thats what real men should be.
:)
