It's a HP pavilion ze1000 series (xf 145). I don't know any more details than that, except that it's about 3 years old. We paid $400 used for it a while back. Now, the power supply doesn't work. A friend wants to buy it from me for $200. The only thing wrong with it is the power supply. We're not exactly sure whether it's the adapter that's broken or the internal power supply, but we're leaning toward thinking it's internal. He knows what doesn't work on it and he likes to mess with computers. Fair deal?

considering you bought it for $400, $200 is a fair price. if the power supply doesnt work, thats $30 the person you're selling it to has to pay, so it's a good price.

+My organization used Dell for a lengthy time period. Then they switched to Lenovo. all and diverse is making an attempt to carry on to their Dell's until eventually they finally provide out or by probability wreck them. The Dells were solid, solid and performance solid customer service. workers that received Lenovos have come lower back soliciting for Dells (even although they're in the previous fashions). the subsequent amazing ingredient you may want to purchase will be an HP. inspite of you do, keep away from Gateway, Toshiba, Acer (and definite), Lenovo.

I personally think after three years you have gotten your $400 worth of use. The power supply in a laptop can be expensive and a buggie to fix.

I'd give it to him for free or $50.00 if he's a good friend.

Hope it helps!
