It's the old question of nature vs. nurture. I believe it is both because for example all serial killers are socio-paths, but not all socio-paths are serial killers. Not all that were abused, abuse others. We still have only touched the tip of the iceberg when it comes to brain function.Have a nice day.

There is a very strong racial, genetic component:

http://www.amren.com/0207issue/0207issue.html
A small amount of this is explained by dramatic racial differences in IQ. Since IQ is the prime determinant of success, low IQ people tend to gravtitate toward the bottom. There is some question as to if the deviance and violence in the extreme lower class and criminal class is the cause or the result of poverty. The poverty itself is mostly a function of intelligence (or rather lack of intelligence):

A word of warning. If you are in college, you absolutely cannot breath a word of this to anyone. The least that will happen to you is you will fail your course. You might even be expelled. Colleges and universities are controlled by marxists.....especially sociology and psychology departments. Currently, marxism is promoting multi-culturalism....the idea that all people are exactly the same and interchangeable.....despite the dramatic scientific evidence to the contrary. The agenda behind this is rather sick, but the topic of another post. The important thing for you to know is that they will hurt you if you challenge what they are doing in any serious way....like talking about the actual scientific evidence on these matters. Or even basic observation and common sense.

I don't think that genetics has anything to do with violent/sexually deviant behavior. A common way for many people to learn is by observation, so I'd say that it's picked up and replicated.

Ah, the nature vs nurture question.
What I personally believe is that certain people may be born with a propensity to behave violently, but violent behaviour of any sort is not specifically genetically preprogrammed. I think the environment is a trigger for violent behaviour.
For example, if you were to take two completely unrelated people and expose them to the same horrendous abuse as children and adolescents, whether one or both of them reacts by becoming violent themselves has to do with their genetic make-up. Because of their environment they both have the POTENTIAL to be violent, but if one of the individual's genetics makes them predisposed to react with anger and violence and the other one makes them predisposed to passivity...then that is what really determines who will act in any specific way.
Which doesn't help when you're trying to pre-determine who is most likely to become sexually deviant or violent.

Violent behaviour is usually learned. When you look at the past of these type of people you can see that the family structure in not good and one of the parents is that way. However, I have seen people that break that circle.

sure! there's a really stressful guy at my paintings and everyone hates him. i have continually defended him conserving he's purely kinda goofy, attempting to be humorous. in some unspecified time sooner or later he were given stuck taking sixty greenbacks from my coworker, in view that then i do not see him as goofy. He even performed a music on the jukebox that I normallylike. ButI didn'tenjoy a lot because he's the single which performed it. (i'm a bartender) once you comprehend what you comprehend, it will continually be contained in the back of your recommendations.

Learned, most sexual preditors were similarly abused as children. As for violence I actually believe that is a chosen trait...for some reason it just sounds better to some than to others. Best wishes

i think it is learnet. if a child had proablems while he was growing and he has seen disturbing things or has not recieved proper parenting then they can do such things when they grow up.
