I would have thought you need a more specialist shop. Try a Google search. Put in Bungee cord suppliers.

Well, i'm guessing (hoping) that you wish to emerge from using it alive, hence it's not the kind of thing you want to scrimp on (yeah, I know ur Scottish (as am I btw.), but really!!)

Go to a specialist or contact a bungee centre for their supplier details.
