I've found the amount I've paid for a coolant flush to be inversely related to how much other work I'm having done on the car at the same time. I believe it used to run around $100 at the dealer.

I agree with the previous answer that you can get a much better deal with a local independent BMW shop. The shop near me is full of obsessive car nuts who have absolutely no incentive to sell me a new car.

A coolant flush is reasonably simple to do. However, don't fill it with the water from the hose (just flush).

I think it ranges dpeending on the vehicle sometimes and how difficult the flush would be. Around $40.00-60.00 at a service shop here in Michigan. The dealer would charge at least $65.00 if not way more. It isnt hard to do it yourself.
Prestone makes a kit for flushing, you just drain your coolant and place a plastic end on your hose and run it thru your radiator.
saves a lot of cash, You dont even need the kit you can just drain coolant and flush it with a hose until it runs clear.

Generally, a Jiffy Lube, Pit Pros, or any of the quick oil-change outfits will have the equipment to do a coolant flush/change in a short amount of time. And usually for under $100.
