The gall bladder releases enzymes that help break down grease and oils in your digestive tract. Without it, the grease and oils pass through your system undigested, reulting in a condition commonly referred to as 'greasy stool'. You may have to make changes in your diet.

I understand this is common after gb surgery. No fatty foods or alcohol is the rule. I'm sure there are listed, somewhere on the internet, what foods are best for post op gall bladder surgery. Hang in there but see you doctor for help if this doesn't improve soon.

It can in some people...I too had my gallbladder removed in 2005 and so far I have noticed an increase in gas and acid reflux(heartburn) Also you may or may not notice a gallbladder type of pain, where your gallbladder use to be,especially after eating a heavy or high fat meal.
The gallbladder was used to flush out toxins and since we no longer have it,other organs (that may not do as good a job)have to take up the slack,,particularly the liver.

Ask your doctor. I am of the opinion that too much bile is getting into your digestive system. One week after my surgery. I ate every damned thig I could find that was edible. Still, after 48 years.. My first meal was baked spare ribs w/saurkraut & mashed potatos. God, I miss that.
