I have a licence but have lost it. Can I drive until I get a new license or find the one I've lost?

The ONLY place you should drive without it is to the DMV to have it replaced.

No, you can because if you get pulled over, you will get fined for driving w/out a license and will be asked to call someone who does to come drive you home. And I suggest calling the DMV to request a new one and keep looking for the one you lost.

you should have someone drive you to the DMV to get a deplicate or your license, just to be safe. u don't want to be caught driving without your license.
if your a minor and you lost your license, then your gonna need to have proof of permission from your parents, guardian, or person that has custody of you, so you can get a duplicate.

Yes....you can drive until you get a new one...
Any Officer who might stop you can check and find out that you have a valid license. You really should have it on your person when you drive, and for Identification. I would recommend going to Police Dept. to report it missing, get the report number and go to DMV tomorrow and get it replaced. Give DMV the report number that they can reference with the Police Dept.

You mean you lost it as in you misplaced it??? If that is the case, you can still drive until you go to the DMV to get a new one, you are still a registered driver

Yes some cops will look you up by name and social number, others will give you 24 hours to bring it to your local traffic court so a ticket does not get issued. You should however really get to the DVM should and get it replaced because if (god forbid) happens to you were your knocked out, they will not know who you are.

If you know your Drivers Licence # then I think that you would be okay.

yes you can dive without your license. just don't speed or brake the law until you get a new one. BUT if you do and you get stopped and you dont have it, they can just look you up in the system. but you WILL get fined.

technically not. Unless you have a declaration made to the police that you have lost it.
Better ask a cop.
