We are staying in Hickory, visiting the Biltmore and going to DEI, Inc.; however, I haven't found much more to do in the Charlotte/Hickory area. I'm looking for good restaurants, nightlife, area attractions, just places to relax and hang out. Any suggestions? Thanks! Lisa

Downtown Charlotte has most of the nightclubs, most are based on Collage Ave. There are so many restaurants to pick from that have good food. Look around downtown, East Blvd or near South Park.
Shopping would be South Park (upscale) or Concord Mill (like an outlet center but much bigger) There is a also a Dave & Busters at Concord Mills.
You have lots of museums around Charlotte and parks.

you can always visit Concord Mills, the huge mall in Concord.There is pleny to do in there.
