I dont watch too many tear jerker movies on purpose but I have seen a few that have made me feel like crying a little.

E.T. The scene when both ET and Elliot almost die is really sad.

Braveheart When William Wallace's wife is killed and again later when he is being tortured.

Passion of the Christ: Even though I knew Jesus was going to ressurect from the dead at the end of the story, the torture and crucifying was still very sad.

Shindler's List: Most of that movie is very sad and emotional.

Flight 93: Powerful movie about a real airplane tragedy.

9/11 (the one with the documentary by the Naudet Brothers in it) was shocking at first but the interviews and the end of the documentary are sad.

Tru Confessions. It was a T.V. movie and I doubt you can find it anywhere. It's about a girl who wants to be a film editor and her brother has down syndrome. She makes a movie about her brother, and while filming her brother's daily acts, her brother encounters many bullies and etc. There is one scene where they are in a library and her brother accidentally wanders onto an elevator and ends up on an other floor that he's never been on before. He starts crying and calling out his sisters name while Tru, his sister, is searching for him on the other floor. When they finally find each other he breaks down and cries. There is an other part where, well, I don't think I should spoil anymore of it. I cried at it and I've only cried at about 3 movies in my life. It's a real tear jerker if you're looking for one. If you can't find the movie, there is a book by the same title.

Philadelphia (1993) which has Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington
The movie is basically about a man with AIDS is fired by a conservative law firm because of his condition, he hires a homophobic small time lawyer as the only willing advocate for a wrongful dismissal suit.
This movie made me cry towards the end but the movie is very heart warming.
Another movie i recommend to you is called 'Sleepers' (1996). Sleepers is about when a prank goes disastrously wrong, a group of boys are sent to a detention center where they are brutalised; 10 years later, they get their chance for revenge. This movie also made me cry and i plan to read the book

The Legend of 1900
Stars Tim Roth as a man named 1900 who was abandoned as a baby on a cruiser liner in the year 1900 (hence his name) and raised by the crew. It is discovered that he is a piano prodigy and he spends his whole life on the ship, never daring to step out on dry land. Until he meets a new friend who encourages him to take a chance. . .
Beautiful movie, almost like a modern fairytale and the end made me bawl like a baby.

Some others that come to mind are:
Dead Poets Society
My Girl
Pay It Forward
Ordinary People
Grave of the Fireflies
Simon Birch
In the Gloaming
It's My Party
