The late Jeff Buckley would've been a SUPERSTAR had he not dies, so I'm not sure he counts
Oh, yeah, and Ryan Adams. His album "Rock N Roll" is one of the great albums of the last 25 years.

I rencently went to canada. I heard a few songs on the radio and though, oh, just more pop music. I came back to the states and looked up the artists. The internet, including myspace, has alot of the artists I heard. It is like spanish meets GOOD r&b. Lovez it!
