I went to babynames.com to find names and a meaning that matched my characters personalities. The names that a loved were confusing of how to pronounce, but I used them anyways. Name examples: Jorah, Jamon, Caelan, and Amalia. Some I used for surnames, but I need a site that has pronounciations and meanings that are alphabetized. Anyone have sites?

As a fellow author and a name lover, I would recommend www.BabyNameAddicts.com. The best part about this site is the forum ( www.BabyNameAddicts.com/forums ) where you can post questions about name pronunciations, similar spellings, and just about anything else relating to names. I've searched online for other name sites, and this is the only one I found that I liked well enough to keep going back for more!

Try behindthename.com it's great!

NOTE: No names are too weird! I once had a story where the main 3 characters FIRST names where Anneli, Christabel, and Raylynn. It matched them and I used them anyway! Good Luck!
