...and following my other similar question re: Europe, who has been to the following countries, whether you liked them, what you did like and what you did not like about them. I have visited both these places with some regularity and find the Orient SO different from our Europe and SO interesting too :
Philppines --- Hong Kong (not a 'country', I know) -- Thailand -- FINALLY TELL ME HOW YOU COPED WITH (1) longhaul flights of 13,14,15 & 16 hours and (2) how did you cope with the HUMIDITY of Hong Kong and the Philippines and Thailand . Did you.... DIE ? I nearly did ! I was taking... don't laugh.... FIVE showers a day and kept soaking my head with water in-between showers !!!

ive been to hong kong. it was definitely better than the "real" china. that 23 hour flight was a killer though. they didnt have ipods back then but i liked the food on the plane and the humidity, dont even try. youll die anyway. japan was interesting to.
but like the other person said, what does this have to do with the world cup?

ya, i am from malaysia and the humidity is 94%... is really hot .. now i study in germany, even though the temperature is hot here ,but the humidity is not high ,so i will not need to shower lots here.that is why i have 6 air conditioner in my house, if not i cannot sleep ..

you asking how we can cope with it : we just use to it - we are immune of it - just like to people live in tibet which has low oxygen
