NO absolutely not.

Everything the government does cost taxpayer money. They should stick to things that only a government can do.

If they had a forum like this, then everyone in the country would have to pay for it, like it or not. Free enterprise gives us choice.

Less government is best government.

Yes, but I honestly don't think ANY of our politicians respect us enought to ever read it.

Have you ever called the whitehouse. You get an answering machine that tells to leave a message... this in turn is deleted daily.

If you ever bump into your congressman (both sides). Watch the reaction. I watch Cheney treat one of our local newsguys like he was a leper here in Bakersfield.

These politicians feel they are so far "above" us.... untill you "call" them on it... then they doublestep and deny, for awhile then it's right back to the imperialist attitude.

We need fewer lawyers and more working class in public office. Our local RNC is run more like a company than an American political party. Candidates are promoted not elected here.

Yes, that would be excellent. They do have to face the press, but they do an excellent job at spinning that. I think the president should have to face the house of the senate and representatives to answer questions at least monthly and should take questions from the public, unfiltered, at least every quarter and do the same with state senators and representatives in their own constituencies.

Yes and they should make G. Bush spend 1-2 hours a day answering the public's real questions.

Now that would be fun.

I do, but I do not think that it would help any. Our government is ruled by a bunch of greedy pot bellied men who are more concerned with there next pay check then our opinion. But its a great thought!

Do I? Yes, but Bush and his cronies would never read the questions and answers ... he is too full of his own agenda. It will take a massive grass roots movement to change this country.

You gotta be kidding......ask the People what they think????
For the most part....If there isn't something in it for them....politicians don't want to hear what you think.
Start checking for the net worth of politicians and their families, and you'll know why they want to be in a position to make the laws.

No, because the FBI, NSA and other spy agencies would monitor it - they're probably monitoring this - and if you said an unkind word about Dubya, you'd get locked up someplace where no one would ever find you.

Sure I think that would be an awesome idea. There are many people with more sense than the people in Washington.
