Your only a little late at the moment. There has been some good answers so far - you need to take a little advice from each one.
You only gave birth nine months ago so your body is still re-adjusting.
Wait a while before being tested again - I would go to your GP & have a blood test instead - urine tests can give a false result (they can say no when it should be yes, but noit the other way around).
Stress has a huge impact on our hormones.
I hope you get the right result for you :-)

tests have been known to be wrong.
Your hormones may be still unbalanced from previous pregnancy.
Are you nursing? This has been known to delay pregnancy. No, it is not a reliable contraceptive.
You do know that for the health of the mother and the infant (as well as the long term development of the child), separating pregnancies by 3-5 years is strongly recommended.

Give it another week and take an Early Response test. Test only in the morning. If you want to get pregnant you probably did it. Good luck with the 9 month old. Two babies that small is a lot of work. Start paying attention to symptoms, sleepiness, sore breasts, etc. You'll know.

Yes, it's possible that you are pregnant. Home pregnancy tests sometimes do have false negatives. Your best bet is to see your doc and have him run a blood pregnancy test. Then you will know for sure. It's also possible that your body is adjusting from having the baby, even though it was 9 months ago.

A test can give your a wrong negative. If you still haven't gotten your period in another week, take another test again because the CGH hormone will be stronger then. Also, don't tell yourself you are, because you can actually trick your body into thinking you are, therefore delaying your period and giving you other pregnancy symptoms. Good Luck!

Girl, I'm exactly the same only I don't have any children. I've always been irregular, I've even gone up to a 1 year without one, it just comes when it's ready, like right now I'm already 4 months late but it's normal for me. We're you like that before you had your baby? Stressing doesn't make it any easier it'll just hold up your period even longer, so try not think about it so much.

Little miss , you must be a new mother. With each child your hormones & stress level go way up causing your body to often go out of wack. Relax & enjoy the baby until you are ready to take on another moment of more undue stress of another child...having little ones too close together ..your periods will never be the norm again..

Did you use a mid stream sample from your first 'visit' of the day? If not, try the test again. Stress can play some silly tricks on your body, maybe you should see your GP to see if there is anything he/she can do to relieve your stress.

Yeah, them test aren't 100% accurate......so test it again. Sometimes women have to be put on birth control pills just to regulate their periods.....so this may be happening to you also. Don't stress about it......if you're pregnant...then congratulations.....if not...then you may want to do the protection thing from now on until you're ready to have another baby. Best of luck to you.......
