during the crusades countless people died, all in the name of "God", and now in modern times as well, all these countries think that God is on their side everytime they start a war. If God supports all these wars, why in his teachings does he say turn the other cheek. He doesnt tell everyone, "Fight for oil rich lands and the American Idealogy!!" Isreal is just as bad, revenge is sewn in to the flag of their nation. Everytime palistine ever did anything against isreal, its like immeadiate revenge, look at munich. Revenge is not something that God wants his children to practice themselves.

We as a people have to do something while we are here on Earth. What should we have done about 9/11? Turn the other cheek and let them do it agian? And again, and again?
I don't know if any of your family or freinds were in the twin towers but if a crime - ANY crime had ever been committed against them- what would you do? Sit there a twiddle your fingers and turn the ohter cheek?
As far as how many people died in the name of God, I haven't a clue.
But I do believe that God is with us in THIS war.

Hmmm. per chance those who say they trust yet do not somewhat. If one truly believes, than one is largely switched over to seek peace particularly of conflict, to stitch endurance and comprehend-how particularly of divisiveness and hatred. If believing in God brings conflict, than obviously you do not trust, do no longer comprehend-how a lot about your reported faith (assuming for this answer that you're referring broadly speaking to christianity and or Islam), and/or were led deeply off music from the words inherent on your favored non secular textual content by utilizing charismatic/ fundamentalistic/ grasping wolves in sheeps clothing who're attempting to apply you to achieve their determined striving.

To confuse the issue.
It clearly states in the "Engish Version" of the Bible. "Thou shall not kill". Yet the bible thumpers run off to murder, rape and pillage everyone that pi##es them off!
Oh yeah, I forgot... God forgives them. It's all a bunch of hooey.
