See your doctor ASAP. A pea-sized or larger lump in your armpit could be a sign of breast cancer.

Normally, a big lump in your armpit is caused by a sweat gland that is stopped up. Sometimes they can get infected, and if it is infected, it'll be red, and eventually get worse. If it's not infected, then GENTLY squeeze it....the contents will come out. It'll also smell the sweat. Continue to GENTLY squeeze it until blood starts to appear. It'll still be kinda sore for a couple of days, but it'll pass. You shouldn't need antibiotics. This is usually caused by your anti-persperant stopping up a sweat gland...sometimes if it continues, you'll have to change anti-persperants. Another cause of this could be an infected hair follicle, or ingrown hair caused by shaving. If it starts to get worse, then by all means go and see a doctor. Best of luck to you..........

You have lymph nodes in your armpit that trap infection..you could have an infection. If it doesn't go away I'd have a doctor look at it because it could also be a sign of something more serious.

It depends how long you have had it. If it hurts and is the size of a pimple that's probably exactly what it is. If there is no pain you should see a doctor it could be many things. Do you do a monthly self breast exam?

First have a doctor check it out. I once had something like that but it wasn't anything serious I took antibiotics and it went away and I stopped using stick deodorant.

It may not. Go see a doctor, it could be something as simple as a lymph node infection or something as serious as cancer.

It could be a swollen lymph node. It is something you really should get checked out if it has been that way for a while.
