I like Christiana Ronaldo but I dont think he quite deserves this award. He hasnt done much in the world cup except convert a penalty. Which was not even under that much pressure considering they had a 2 PK lead. Lahm from Germany and Ribery from France has been impressive. Although it is strange that Ribery is not even on the ballot. Asamoah was also impressive on the pitch but wasnt mentally strong enough with his red cards. Barnetta was also impressive.
And I see all these americans cheering agains Ronaldo for the Brits losing. Number one Ronaldo had nothing to do with the Brits losing. Secondly I guess they cheerr for England because no other country in the world likes them. Newsflash to you WHITE PEOPLE - the Brits dont like you either. Just because Tony Blair supported you in the war against Iraq does not mean the British people share his sentiments. In fact majority of the population was against this merger. But then again majority of the US was against the war too but the DICTATOR Bush did it anyway.
Besides, Tony Blair even has publicly accused George Bush for his unlawful tactis in Guantanamo Bay. Guantanamo Bay is still the most unconstitutional, illegal act in the world. The ones who preach democracy are slaughtering people in Guantanamo. And the ones that are in Iraq to protect the public supposedly is raping men, children and women and killing several innocent people. Read the news in your own country - they are only the ones you are allowed to see with your supposedly democratic but absolutely government directed media.
