I think you should leave it like that because even though it's patriotic, the fireworks also put a spark to your avatar. It's very cute.

I would change it to a summer beach background. As for clothes you should do a summer outfit with blue jeans/shorts or a skirt with a short sleeved shirt.

I don't see why you couldn't just leave it like that...it's very patriotic. We're not JUST patriotic on Memorial Day and the Fourth of July...right!? :)
