Don't put them in the dryer. Hang them to dry so the fabric doesn't shrink up shorter than the zipper. If it's already shrunken try stretching it when it's wet.

It happens due to the fact that the zipper and the material the hoodie is amde from is different and behave differently after washing. I imagine the zipper is nylon or some other synthetic and the hoodie is cotton or a cotton blend. Maybe you could find synthetic material hoodies or perhaps try to dryclean them to keep the cotton from shrinking, or maybe try to to carefully strech the material around where the zipper and the hoodie meet. For a sure fire fix... Get yerself a pull-over hoodie.

I have had that same problem. I think it's because we wear them out and over wash them, the fabric tends to get overstretched and it becomes loose and hangs over the zipper. I have had some success when I wash in cold water and I vigorously shake my hoodie downward to stretch it a bit, and then I hang it to dry. If this solution doesn't cut it for you, I would try taking it to a seamstress or you're local dry cleaners to replace the zipper into a larger one to match the hoodie size.

Good Luck

It relies upon. i like the way pullover hoodies seem better, yet while i understand that i'll be taking it off then the zipper ones are better because of the fact then i don't get makeup on it or cut back to rubble my hair.

Starch them? or maybe if that doesn't work try putting them at the bottom of the ironing pile or under a stack of books. I have had the very same problem its all in the size and material, maybe the size is too big or small and doesn't mould to your body? Or the material is too thin and the zip is too heavy for it? I buy thinker hoodies and starch them!

There's not much you can do with them now, other then maybe streatching the fabric around the zippers to match the shape.
When you buy more of these, do not put them in the dryer, hang them instead to dry.
