Go there and get Diatomaceous Earth. Theirs is "food grade" and will not harm humans or pets. It will kill anything with an exoskeleton. That includes all your basic bugs.

there is no longer something interior the way of a repellant which could distinguish between an "authorized" cat (yours) and a trespasser apart from you and your moggy. We got here across that the only difficulty that has any effect is a severe-potential water pistol, it quite is guaranteed to shift the pest without harming something apart from its dignity. problem is, this relies upon on you being chronic and for that matter on your marksmanship. once you're waiting to maintain up a marketing campaign of blasting it each time apparently finally it gets the message. What happens in the journey that your cat meets it exterior? oftentimes there's a face-off regarding a lot hissing, spitting and swearing yet seldom any blows, and oftentimes the resident wins the disagreement, being reinforced by employing the moral severe-floor of living there. Plus your ethical help in case you are going to be close by. desire you luck.

Plant onions and/or marigolds throughout your garden. Plant radish amogst cucumbers because cucumber beatles will eat the radish leaves first. For slugs, submerge a margarine container in dirt and fill with beer. Put rhubarb leaves around the base of tomato plants. Plant horse radish with your potatoes.
Finally, if necessary, spray plants with lightly soapy water.

Am I too mean? I spray with cayenne pepper. It needs to be reapplied if it rains. I use this on my bird feeders to repel squirrels. They remember for awhile...and for the poor dogs who get walked by my front garden by their ignorant owners....grrr.
A cat remembers longer I think.
My neighbor's cat likes my valerian.
