yes, i love my birthday. and its not cause anything great ever happens either. i look at my birthday like most people look at new years. i was just given another day, another year of life! that is something to celebrate! i love making other peoples birthdays special too. i dont really understand why people dont like their birthdays.
look at me, i have every reason to hate my birthday. the great thing is that i was a birthday present for my dad. so, for most of my life that is why i loved my birthday. that was so special to me that i was born on his bday. but then, when i was 15, my dad died. so, sometimes i wonder why i still like my birthday because the person who made it soo special is no longer here. but i look at a birthday as a blessing and i think everyone should be proud of the new year that has been given to them whether it is 20 or 80. even if there are no presents or surprises.

Not really,I've never been a big birthday person. It always seems as though when I do get excited about my birthday, the plans always fall apart,so I equate birthdays with disappointment. I can never remember other peoples birthdays either, not that I dont care, just that it doesnt stick in my mind. I can have it written down on a calender and will think about it the whole week, but on the day,I forget. Sucks man,cuz someones always mad,but my close friends have learnt not to be offended.

Not really, nothing ever happens and I'm usually sick. The most I ever do on my birthday is go out to dinner. My last birthday pressie (like more of the ones before) were repairs on my car made throughout the year.

I would like that my birthday be acknowledged with a phone call or with a card. As for it being a "party till you drop festive" occassion, I'm fine without it. I'd rather have people appreciate me year long rather than on one day!

I am turning 27 at the end of this month, and I still get so excited, mainly for the party, not as much as the gifts, though its a close second :) This year, I am a mommy, and I am getting a babysitter, and going to REALLY party!! I still get as excited about my bday as I did when I was kid. Sorry for the novel

Yes I do care. However I don't care if people don't buy gifts or send shop bought cards. I would much rather someone go out and pick me a bunch of wild flowers and make me a card themselves!

No, not really. I think once you pass your landmark B Days, like, Sweet 16, "21", and the big 40, the rest are just like another day that I hope will pass calmly.

Not in the least. It is in the dead of winter and I don't celebrate it at all (except for the 21st one.. went bar hopping that night)
