Every team consist of eleven players, but they are some players that are more important than others. Germany strong point is that they play as a team, so, they won't be affected that much by the lost of Frings. On the other hand, I have no idea who will replace him. If there is a big difference on skills. it could.

No Germany is one of the few teams in this world cup who do not depend on one person to be the rainmaker in the team. They will be OK without Frings, actually they will be brilliant as always.

I think it is a big loss. Germany has a great squad with their starting 11, and Neuville of the bench but their bench is not as deep as the Italians.
