I mean, come on, you'd have to be a really good shot. Who is throwing stones at birds? Let's hope they live in a glass house.

I always thought it should be termed killing two birds with one rock. I'm pretty sure a stone would be too small, unless by some freak accident it ricocheted off the first bird and hit the second (which would be pretty funny).

But a rock could do it, if the birds were close enough to each other, and they were blind disabled short-bus riding birds (do they have short buses for birds, no, that's ridiculous)...because you would think if they can see a worm from up in the sky, they could certainly see a big a$$ rock coming for their demise. Let's go experiment.

My grandma once, when she was bird hunting, shot a partridge. She walked over, and realized she had shot two at one time... the bullet had gone right through the first into the other one. So, if that counts, then yuppers.

i shot two pigeons with one shot of a 22 rifle once. from the top of a barn

I got two birds while they mated with a slingshot. I am quite proficient with it , got them from the top.
