Always cash. It is foolish to use a credit card for anything you don't already have the cash for or will be getting cash to pay within the month.

plastic. I find that I spend cash to easy If I use a debit card or credit card I always think about the purchase. Besides it is a lot essayer to tell people you don't have any money on you when they ask for a loan. As you can tell I have Kids and grandchildren.

plastic. I use my discover card, get cash back bonus, then pay It off at the end of the month. If I have cash, I'll spend it and not know where it went. this way i have a paper trail and can track down the nearest dollar.

Plastic. If you use your credit card correctly (paying off all bills each month and never carrying a balance) you are essentially getting free loans. How can you beat that? Plus, a lot of credit card companies offer incentives for using their service - like sky miles or cash back.

I use plastic wherever I can because I have credit cards that pay me cash rebates on all my purchases. Then I pay off the balance in full at the end of the month so I don't ever have to pay and interest on these purchases. We "earn" more than $1300 per year using rebate credit cards. And we have terrific credit, because we don't carry credit card balances, which shows that we are very responsible.

I use a credit card for everything that I can so I make sure I have enough cash with me in case I need it. Plus I find it easier for every one, I don't need to fish around for bills and get change...just swipe, sign, and go. When the bill comes, I pay it online out of my checking. I don't like the debit card becuase it's too hard to reconcile with my checkbook.

none of the above? I pay my bills online with direct debit (either my check card or checking account number). For everything else, cash from my envelopes. I think I've written maybe 15 checks this year.
